The finals of the vocational skills competition ended in Jiangyin, Jiangsu province. Yang Jingshuang, Chen Jun, Chen Enshu, Yu Fa Xian, Wei Juyan and Lan Chuanjie won the top six.
Xu Kunyuan, honorary president of China Textile Industry Federation, Zhang Yankai, vice president of China Textile Industry Federation, Yang Shibin, President of China knitted Industrial Association and Xie Ming, President of Jiangsu Textile Industry Association, attended the prize presentation ceremony.
According to Wang Zhi, chief referee of the competition, 84 athletes entered the finals after passing the preliminaries in 12 provinces and cities.
The competition is divided into two parts: theoretical knowledge examination and practical operation assessment. The theoretical part accounts for 30%, and the practical operation part 70%.
Among them, the actual operation part is divided into 5 small items, namely two yarn wear, replacement pin, cloth, wrong yarn and yarn.
The jury is responsible for the examination and practice of theoretical knowledge.

The first to third players in the national finals were professionally qualified by the textile industry vocational skills appraisal and guidance center according to the regulations (the national vocational qualification two level); the fourth to eighteenth players were promoted to senior vocational qualification (three grade of national vocational qualification).
At the same time, the top six players were awarded the title of "technical experts in the national textile industry"; seventh to eighteenth players were awarded the honorary title of "technical experts in the national knitting industry"; nineteenth to thirtieth players were awarded the honorary title of "weft knitting operator in the national knitting industry".
During the "11th Five-Year" period, the knitting industry has been developing rapidly, especially with great progress in technology and equipment.
Weft knitting industry occupies an important position in the knitting industry, and the gross industrial output value of weft knitted enterprises.

The output value accounts for more than 70% of the knitting industry.
Yang Shibin, President of the China knitwear industry association, said: "there is a very important theme in this competition.
The main purpose of the competition is to be more skilled than the best.
In the weft knitting industry, there are nearly one million operators involved in the production of large circular knitting machines, and 84 of them are selected to enter the finals, which is equivalent to one of ten thousand people.
On the other hand, the development of China's textile industry is changing from high speed to high efficiency, and high skilled workers are needed.
"This competition is the largest professional skill competition in the textile industry in China. The honor obtained can give players professional skill demarcation, so as to help more migrant workers successfully complete the social pformation from rural to urban areas, and give the root of a migrant worker to a city."

Yang Shibin also said that the weft knitted job skills competition program was held in 2013 and was held every two years.
