Recently, the Association for the first time announced the results of a comparative test of mountaineering clothes (commonly known as "assault clothing"), showing that the quality of mainstream brands is good, but the lack of information on product marks is a problem.

At present, relevant departments of the state are drafting standards for outdoor sportswear.

The test shows that the mountaineering clothes meet the requirements in terms of basic performance. But on the product logo, 2 of the 10 brands do not show basic safety standards and safety categories, and 3 have not specified the implementation standards of the products.

In terms of functional quality, most products are worthy of the name, and some individual products are not satisfactory in terms of waterproof and breathability.

In this regard, the state fiber quality supervision and inspection center responsible person pointed out that this is because there is no national standard for outdoor sportswear, most products are used in common clothing standards, are currently drafting standards, plans to classify outdoor products.

China Association for consumer protection also suggests developing national standards for outdoor sportswear as soon as possible.
